Welcome to Dubrovnik, Croatia!

It’s known for its distinctive Old Town, encircled with massive stone walls completed in the 16th century. Its well-preserved buildings range from the Baroque St. Blaise Church to the Renaissance Sponza Palace and the Gothic Rector’s Palace, now a history museum. Paved with limestone, the pedestrianized Stradun (or Placa) is lined with shops and restaurants.

Ancient City Walls

The walls run an uninterrupted course of approximately 1,940 meters (6,360 ft) in length, encircling most of the old city, and reach a maximum height of about 25 meters (82 ft).

City for Blockbusters

Movies and series such as Game of Thrones, Star Wars, Robin Hood and many others used Dubrovnik for their scenography. You can visit famous locations all around the city. As a GoT fan you will surely (among the others) recognize location of Cersei's walk of shame, from the very top of the Spanish Steps to Fort Lovrijenac.

Undoubtedly one of Europe’s most picturesque pedestrian thoroughfares, the Stradun boasts many cafés and restaurants and is a good spot to rest your weary feet after a day touring Dubrovnik.
